Inside the Wardrobe of Maggie Pettit

Maggie Pettit is a senior at UGA, and one of my very close friends. I featured her today for her impeccable style that stands out every season of the year. Here are some photos and some tips on how to achieve her style.
The mint colored jeans are a staple in Maggie's wardrobe. "You wouldn't think so at first, but Mint Jeans Really go with Everything

Instead of pairing a romper with the typical sandals or flats, she wears boots in order to toughen up this look.

This flowy dress from Free People is another staple in the closet of Maggie Petit. It can be dressed up or down to fit any occasion.

Although winter is over, I had to feature this look. If you think winter is for dressing badly think again and take tips from this outfit. Lace jackets, graphic leggings and a bold color blouses prove that winter can be more than just bundling up in different shades of gray

*Maggie's Favorite stores consist of Urban Outfitter, Free People, Michael Kors, Zara and several local downtown Athens Botiques.

The Must Have Watch of the Season

It may be true that the classic gold and silver watches never fade out of style. But if you are looking for a fun alternative this spring look no further. The watch brand Triwa, is an acronym for "Transforming the Industry of Watches". They are a swedish brand that"adds color" to luxury watches in order to update and modernize them to fit anyones liking. The watches come in every color under the rainbow, and some you couldn't even think of. I posted a few of my favorites (can't decide which one to commit to), and the link to their website so you can see for yourself.

Happy Spring!

For some reason March never really feels like spring to me. But on the first day of April I'm convinced it's spring. No more dull dark colors, big jackets or gloves. I don't know anyone who would be upset over that.

Spring Break

The end of spring break came way too fast. I was lucky enough to relax and lay by the beach with some of my close friends in Sea Side Florida. I was also able to head to Savannah on Saint Patricks day for one of the biggest celebrations in the world! The dress code was very casual and comfortable. Here is a little recap....
Maxi Dresses Galore, my dress (left) was purchased from Forever21. The perfect item to take with you on spring break, just throw it on and you instantly have the outfit you have been searching for to go get some drinks by the beach.
I was so excited to ditch the boring blue jeans winter encroached on me and replace them with these bright yellow jeans I purchased at Delias!

This Urban Outfitters graphic romper (second of the left) was a great day to night outfit
On Saint Patricks day I wore high waisted light khaki pants with a sheer green blouse to create a uptown festive look.

My Roomate is more talented than yours

I will admit that the title is a little conceited, but when you could be possible living with the next Tibby or Chanel...I think you would say the same think. Living on the first floor, I was able to see firsthand the time and dedication my roomate, Ashley Long put into the University of Georgia's fashion week finale. Everyday she would come home for countless hours and slave over her outfits. Tailors? That's for anmatures, Ashley created each piece herself. Her collection entitled "where the wild things are" featured a plethora of fur that caught everyone's eye. Here are some pictures from the show....
